A politician cannot claim a role and be badged for it. Every public role is verified against an authoritative source before it appears.

The role verification workflow is modelled in the database but the verification queue and public directory are not built.
This page will show:
- Verified office, jurisdiction and term dates
- The verification method and source used
- Roles marked as former when a term ends, with the signature preserved
- Filtering by country and jurisdiction
Planned for Phase 3.
If a politician has not signed
We show nothing. No accusatory label, no “refused safety”. A “not yet signed” status appears only where we can show the person was actually invited or belongs to a tracked cohort.
