Principles
The rules we hold ourselves to.
These are non-negotiable. Every product and engineering decision is measured against them.
01
Extremely easy to sign
No account, no password, no app. A signature should take under a minute, with one decision per screen.
02
Trust over growth tricks
No fake countdowns, no dark patterns, no pre-checked consent, no exaggerated statistics, no manufactured social pressure.
03
Publicly transparent, privately conservative
Anyone can audit the totals and the methodology. Nobody can see an email, a phone number or an IP address, and we do not ask for a date of birth at all.
04
No political party alignment
The platform never ranks, recommends or favours a party.
05
Versioned and immutable
Once a version of the Accord is published it never changes. Every signature is bound to the exact text and hash that person agreed to.
06
Global by architecture
Unicode everywhere, right-to-left support, localized formats, and every UN member and observer state present from day one.
07
Safety and privacy are product features
A project criticising unsafe technological development has to demonstrate disciplined engineering itself.
