Report a mistake

Tell us what we got wrong.

Everything here is read from public sources, and public sources can be wrong or out of date. So can we. A person reads every report.

One thing we ask

A link to a source we can open and read for ourselves. It is the same rule we hold our own facts to, and it is why every fact on this site carries one.

You are reporting /updates

What is wrongThe fact itself is wrongThe source is wrong, or the link is deadIt was right, but it has changed sinceIt is technically right but misleading without moreSomething else

What should it say instead?

Enough for someone to check it. You do not need to be polite or formal.

A source we can open

We only act on what we can read for ourselves, which is the same rule we hold our own facts to. An official document beats a news article. If the problem is a dead link, send the page that replaced it, or an archived copy.

Your email (optional)

Only so we can reply. Never published, never shown with the correction, and you do not have to leave one.

Verification check

An automatic check that you are a person. It usually completes on its own with nothing to do. There is no puzzle to solve and no images to identify.
